Donations
Financial donations are very much appreciated so shelters can purchase items that are needed. Please use the “Getting Help” page on this website to access the individual shelters’ websites. Alternatively, donations can be made through MAWS with a description of how you would like the funds to be distributed.
Thank you for giving to the Manitoba Association of Women’s Shelters Inc. (MAWS). Your help enables us to continue the vital work we do, supporting survivors of interpersonal and family violence. MAWS is a charity, #88078 6892 RR0001, that operates through the generous contributions raised through private foundations, corporations, and public donations.
Private Donations
A donation can be made by mailing a cheque to MAWS C/O Box 194, Rossburn, MB R0J 1V0. Please include your full name and correct mailing address for the tax receipt. For more information, call 204-960-6995.

Donations can be made through the CanadaHelps website. Tax receipts will be issued by CanadaHelps.org
Donate A Car Canada
Donate A Car Canada accepts Vehicle Donations for the Manitoba Association of Women’s Shelters. They provide free towing in many areas across Canada, or you can drop off your vehicle to maximize your donation. When you Donate your RV, boat, motorcycle or other vehicle to the Manitoba Association of Women’s Shelters through Donate A Car Canada, it will either be recycled or sold at auction depending on its condition, age, and location. Donate A Car Canada will look after all the details, and they partner with CanadaHelps who will provide the tax receipt.
