Gender-based violence (GBV) affects so many of us—whether we’ve experienced it, witnessed it, or seen its impact on people we care about.
*GBV is any harmful act directed at someone because of their gender, including physical, sexual, emotional, or online violence, controlling behaviour, and threats.
And here’s the thing: young people have powerful ideas about how to create change.
The project “Your Voice, Your Vision” is about giving you the platform, tools, and support to make your ideas real. You have something to say. We want to help you say it.
Is this for you?
You should apply if:
- You’re between 15 and 24 years old (participants must not turn 25 before Sept 2026)
- You want to develop new skills and connect with other passionate youth
- You’re interested in using creativity to drive social change
- You care about creating safer, more respectful communities
You don’t need:
- Prior experience in activism or media production
- Direct experience with gender-based violence
- Professional equipment or technical expertise
- To be outgoing or already confident
What you’ll do & gain
✓ Create TikToks, podcasts, art, videos—whatever speaks to you, and see your work reach real audiences
✓ Connect with other youth who get it, build genuine friendships, and support each other
✓ Grow your skills in digital storytelling, advocacy, and content creation—plus build your portfolio
✓ Lead in a safe(r), inclusive space where your voice is actually heard, and your ideas drive change
✓ Leave with skills, connections, certificates, and proof of real impact
Here’s the deal
For one year (Jan-Dec 2026), you’ll join other youth (ages 15-24) in creating a multimedia campaign that challenges gender-based violence in ways that actually resonate with young people.
This is about YOU leading—with your creativity, your hope, your vision.
The format: Virtual hangouts + in-person workshops and events.
We’re asking for a one-year commitment because real change takes time. We also understand that young people have busy lives. We’ll figure it out together.
If you’re ready, LET’S GO!
