The ability to provide trauma informed service requires a level of understanding of drugs and how they effect users and their family. This course will provide an overview of different types of drugs and their effects.
What will I learn?
- What are psychoactive drugs and methods of drug use,
- The short term and long term side effects of Depressants, Opiods, Stimulants, Hallucinogens, Cannabinoid, Solvents and Alcohol,
- Drug use and effects on babies.
